Cream Carved

A variation on Miranda’s signature black carved collection, these pieces are each dipped in a white clay slip before the design is drawn freehand. The background of the decoration is carved away, removing the layer of slip and exposing the clay body. The pots are bisque-fired, dipped in clear glaze, and fired for a second time.
