ShackletonLegend Aunt Jean's Oat Cakes

My other Aunt, Aunt Kitty’s younger sister, was also an excellent cook (and gardener). This is her recipe. We love Oatcakes, not on their own, but with butter and cheese and jellies and maybe Marmite. Oatcakes were traditionally made in the poorer regions of Scotland and Ireland, where Oats could tolerate the poor soil and rough climate.
