“Dressers, apart from being popular items these days hold a surprising amount and variety of stuff. In Ireland, where I am from , everything from chickens to the family’s papers, was stored in the kitchen dresser. That is, of course, apart form the usual collection of pottery and glass” ~Charles Shackleton  

Sometimes you need additional space for your chickens and paper, so we made a dresser one more bay wide.

Each "berry" on the dentil molding is created by 12 passes with a carving chisel
Two adjustable wooden shelves in each section in upper case with plate grooves
One full-length adjustable shelf in lower case
Hand-carved dentil molding beneath crown
Applied bead surrounding doors and drawers
Hand-cut dovetails on drawers
Hand-turned knobs
